OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. GAME BEGINS AT NOON (ET) ON 11/25/08 AND ENDS AT 11:59:59 AM (ET) ON 1/6/09 (THE "GAME PERIOD").

  1. TO PLAY INSTANT WIN GAME AND ENTER SWEEPSTAKES: Complete official registration form available at www.cesar.com/unwrap (or, if you already are registered, log in) and follow the on-screen instructions to play the Instant Win Game (the "Game"). ALL PLAYS MUST BE COMPLETED BY 11:59:59 AM (ET) ON 1/6/09. Limit: One play per person and per email address per day. If more than one play per email address, or if more than one play per person, is received per day, then only the first such play is eligible. Each play will be deemed to have been submitted by the natural person assigned the email address by the entity responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such person's email address. Multiple Game participants are not permitted to share the same email address. For the purpose of the Game, each day will begin at 12:00:00 AM ET and end at 11:59:59 PM ET, with the exception of the first day, which begins at Noon ET on 11/25/08, and the last day, which ends at 11:59:59 AM ET. If you are the first person to play the Game on or after the predetermined time and date for the most recent winning Game message made available, you will receive a Game message that says "Congratulations! You have won!" and you will win the prize indicated, subject to verification of eligibility. Winning dates and times will be randomly predetermined under the supervision of D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Game and the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes Entry: Each time you play the Game, you are automatically entered into the Sweepstakes described in Rule 4 below. Limit: one Sweepstakes entry per play. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
  2. PRIZES AND ODDS: One (1) Sweepstakes Grand Prize: A trip for two (2) to New York, NY. Trip includes: round trip, coach-class air transportation on Continental Airlines® to New York, NY from major airport nearest winner's home (as determined by Sponsor); two (2) nights' double-occupancy accommodations (details determined by Sponsor) in The Shoreham Hotel; private meeting and walk with Wendy Diamond (location, time and duration to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) (the "Diamond Meeting"); and a doggie gift bag (containing leash, collar, dog treats, dog toys and books). All other expenses not included in prize description above (including, but not limited to ground transportation, taxes, fees, meals, gratuities and insurance) are the sole responsibility of winner. If winner resides within a 100 mile radius of New York, NY, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute ground transportation in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or other substitutions will be provided for the difference in prize value. Winner and travel companion must travel together on the same itinerary. Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Sweepstakes Grand Prize may be forfeited unless travel is (i) made through Sponsor's agent(s) at least thirty (30) days in advance of departure, (ii) on Continental Airlines and (iii) completed on or before May 1, 2009. Exact travel dates and arrangements are subject to availability, blackout dates and other restrictions. If, for any reason, Diamond Meeting is postponed or cancelled, trip will be awarded on same itinerary, no additional compensation will be provided and Sponsor will have no further obligation to winner. Winner and guest must comply with all applicable rules regarding the Diamond Meeting and failure to do so may result in forfeiture of Sweepstakes Grand Prize. Additional restrictions may apply. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $3,000. Actual prize value will depend on winner's point of departure and dates of travel. The Diamond Meeting has no retail value for these purposes. 350 Game First Prizes: A PuchiBag, Inc. Swarovski® Crystal Dog Leash. ARV: $125 each. 400 Game Second Prizes: One (1) of the following (as randomly assigned by Sponsor): a $25 PetSmart® Gift Card (200 total); a $25 Canine Styles, Inc. Gift Certificate (100 total); or a $25 Trixie + Peanut Pet Emporium Gift Card (100 total). ARV: $25 each. All Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are subject to the terms and conditions of their issuers, including any applicable expiration date. Lost, stolen or destroyed certificates will not be replaced. Additional restrictions, limitations and exclusions may apply. 75 Game Third Prizes: One of the following (as randomly assigned by Sponsor): a one-year subscription to Animal Fair® Magazine (published quarterly) (ARV: $19.99 each) (25 total); a one-year subscription to The Bark Magazine (published bi-monthly) (ARV: $18 each) (25 total); or a one-year subscription to Modern Dog Magazine (published quarterly) (ARV: $15 each) (25 total). Subscriptions must begin by 12/31/09. 5,000 Game Fourth Prizes: a coupon redeemable for one (1) free cesar® canine cuisine entrée (3.5 oz). ARV: $1.09 each. Coupons are subject to terms and conditions stated thereon. Additional restrictions, limitations and exclusions may apply. Total ARV of all prizes: $63,524.75. Odds of winning Game Prizes depend upon the number of entrants playing and the date and time of each entry. Odds of wining Sweepstakes Grand Prize depends on the number of entries received. Limit: one (1) prize per person per day and one (1) Game First, Second, Third and Fourth Prize per person. If for any reason, a person receives more than one winning message per day, that person will receive the prize specified on the first winning message received for that day, subject to verification of eligibility. Sponsor reserves right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Sponsor responsible only for delivery of prize; not responsible for prize utility, quality or otherwise. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of winners.
  3. INSTANT WIN PRIZE CLAIMS: Follow the prize claim instructions that will appear after you receive your winning Game message. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of Game prizes. Unclaimed Game First Prizes will be awarded in the Second Chance Drawing described in Rule 5 below (assuming sufficient number of eligible entries). Other unclaimed Game prizes will not be awarded. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the unlikely event that winning Game messages for any prize level are distributed in numbers greater than the number stated in these Official Rules for such prize level, that stated number of winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims received for that prize level.
  4. SELECTION OF SWEEPSTAKES GRAND PRIZE WINNER: Potential Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner will be determined from all eligible entries received in a random drawing to be conducted on or about 01/12/09 by D.L. Blair, Inc.
  5. SECOND CHANCE DRAWING: Any Game First Prizes not claimed by 01/29/09 will be awarded in the Second Chance Drawing (the "Drawing"), assuming a sufficient number of entries. Each time you play the Game, you will be automatically entered in the Drawing. No illegible, incomplete, forged or altered entries will be accepted. Winners will be determined from all eligible entries received in a random drawing to be conducted on or about 01/30/09, by D.L. Blair, Inc. Odds of winning depend upon the number of unclaimed First Prizes and eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by standard mail. All entries become exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
  6. ELIGIBILITY: Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing open to individual legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, age 21 or older as of 11/25/08, except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Sponsor and its affiliates, agents, judges and advertising and promotion agencies.
  7. VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES: Prize claims subject to verification, and all drawings conducted by, D.L. Blair, Inc., whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing. Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by telephone and will be asked to complete an oral affidavit of eligibility, including the recording of his/her social security number. Upon satisfactory completion of the oral affidavit of eligibility, Grand Prize winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and, where permitted, a publicity release. Trip participant must sign travel release. Grand Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if affidavit is not returned within 5 days after mailing to winner. Return of any prize/prize notification letter as undeliverable may result in disqualification. Each winner agrees to use of name, address, likeness and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law. Prize claims and entries are sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
  8. GENERAL: Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing are void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Delaware. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States. Sponsor and judges not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due or misdirected entries, mail or communications; for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices or transmission lines; or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Sponsor and judges not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. The use of automated software or computer programs to register for or to play the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register or play will be disqualified. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing, and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing should any virus, bug, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Sponsor's control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing. In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted and a random drawing to award the Sweepstakes Grand Prize and remaining Game Prizes will be held from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received for the Drawing prior to such time. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant (and all of his/her entries) from the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if he/she tampers with the entry process or if his/her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing. Sponsors reserve the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials. By participating in the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that he/she is eligible to participate in the Game/Sweepstakes/Drawing. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor and its directors, employees, officers and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activity.
  9. CAUTION. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS GAME/SWEEPSTAKES/DRAWING IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
  10. WINNERS LIST: To obtain Grand, First, Second and Third Prize winners' names, go to www.cesar.com/unwrap/winners. Winners' names will be available after selection and verification of prize winners from 02/03/09 through 02/24/09.
