CLEVELAND—What started as an innocent stunt has now blown up into a legal brouhaha between a disgruntled Dachshund and his owner. Fritz, 2, is boiling mad over the posting of a “belittling” baby photo on the Internet by his owner, Nick Bartle. “The abuse I have sustained at the dog parks has been brutal,” Fritz said. “I get a lot of ‘Yo, Weiner!’ or ‘Nice buns, hot dog.’ Frankly, I’m sick of it.”
Taken when Fritz was just weeks old, the photo depicts the Dachshund posed as a hot dog in a bun. “Do I regret posing for that stupid picture? Yes. Will I be pursuing my legal options? Absolutely.”
