Be mindful of each product's expiration date and be sure to use it before then. Once opened, return the unused portion to the fridge and use the rest within seven days to avoid spoilage. You’ll want to keep this sealed to prevent it from drying out in the refrigerator. 

Your dog’s caloric needs depend on several factors, including their age, breed, activity level, and ideal body condition. 

That said, their regular diet also makes a difference. If you’re mixing kibble or wet food with refrigerated dog food, they’ll need smaller portions of each to balance their overall calorie intake.
